Harden Harden he's our man!

Okay, some of you may have seen this on FB...but I wanted to put it on here as well.  Bostyn...he is almost three- will be February 17.  This kid is over the top OBSESSED with basketball! Now, I was obsessed, but I was not obsessed at this age.  But, I guess that is what happens when you have three older brothers, two of which are always playing basketball.  So, Gram and Poppa (my great in-laws) got the little guys a new inside goal for Christmas.  Bostyn...not to toot the horn again, but is incredible for a two year old- he can shoot a full size ball on an eight foot goal! Anyhow, the goal that is inside goes up to 6ft.  So, needless to say there is always a basketball game going at my house! Last week, he was shooting around in the living room while we were watching the Thunder pre-game.  I was shooting random video of him because, well lets be honest here, I really think this kid is going to do big things so I wanted to have this for when he signs with OU for college basketball :)  Harden is his favorite player, even though he has his Durant jersey on...Blake has even gone so far as to start prepping his Harden beard for B to wear for his Thunder Themed bday party coming up...so, I caught this on video...make sure and pay attention at the end...he totally hears the announcers say Harden's name and then goes crazy...Here is your smallest BIGGEST Harden fan!

When a boy has to go he HAS to go!!!

What is wrong with people!? So Thursday, I had just picked up the little guys and not two minutes after we get in the car, Bostyn informs me that he needs to go potty.  Well, with this kid, he is so busy, that when he tells me he needs to go he has waited until the final moment before he is literally going to pee his pants.  So, against my OCD talking in the back of my head...first place I could pull into was a Circle K.  This is close to five (long day at the office) and so the place is super busy.  Alright, so I unload both little guys and we head to the bathroom. Of course, I have a two year old literally shaking because he has to use the potty so bad and what do ya know- there is a line for the girls restroom.  So, what does this mommy do!? This is not my first rodeo..we bee line into the men's restroom- VOMIT! I immediately look at both boys and very loudly say "hands up...don't touch a thing".  It was so nasty.  Anyhow, so they both pee and everything was fine.  Here I was in my heels and i put my foot up on the handle to flush the toilet...and may have sanitized the bottom of my shoes. So I go to open the door and there is a man standing out there and totally flips out on me because I had my boys in the men's bathroom and he needed to use it.  Really? He asked me what my problem was and asked me if I could not read the sign.  At this point, both my 4yo and 2yo have huge eyes thinking this man is scary.  I thought very quickly- I could do the next right thing and just keep walking and show the boys the right thing to do...or I could tell him what I really thought about his nasty display of actions in front of my children (and maybe accidentally strongly bump into him- crap that wouldn't work, I was holding B).  So I simply just looked at him and said, "Sorry Sir, I will pray for you."  He was stunned, wasn't sure what to say.  We proceeded back to the car and when I was buckling Madixx he said "Mommy, do you think that man would be that mean to God?" Wow...I just looked at him and said, "Max, I am not sure if that man knows God, and that is why we will pray for him."

While I was a little irritated in how the man was acting in front of my boys, I was very thankful that my boys know God enough to wonder if that man knew God.  Amazing.

And so it begins....

Okay...here goes.  I have resisted blogging for some time now.  I am finally giving in- why you ask!? Because I am a mommy of four incredible boys and well, things are funny! Too many funny and interesting things to continue updating my status on facebook I have decided.  So, lets begin with today's amazingness! I decided (okay my husband gave me the green light) to go to part time.  It was just too much! Between being a full time employee, cook, taxi driver, boo boo healer, breakfast, lunch and dinner chef (not to mention the ridiculous amount of snack breaks needed), school pick ups and drop offs, various sports activities...um wait- these are all just things for the kids.  Well, I think you get the point.  Aside from being a full time mommy and employee I am also a wife to a very amazing man- one who deserves more of my time then I had to give.   I am very excited for my journey and all of the amazing blessings that GOD has put in my life over the last month.

So, throughout the course of my day I hear and experience some of the funniest things I never could have imagined I ever would.  Most come from my kids, some from my husband, some from the Sports Animal morning show that I am now addicted to and others are just the awesome (i think hilarious) things that pop into my head! That being said- I have experiences...yeah I know everyone does, but who is writing about them- I AM! So, if I can bring a laugh to your day or write about something that you may have a similar situation to and you can get something from it...then great! If not, doesn't bother me a bit- you don't have to read it! Being the mom of four boys, there are things that I can only say in my own private blog that they cant get their FILTHY Lil paws on! :) So...we shall see where this leads...today I am just excited that I finally listened to my GOD when he was giving me the answer of what to do...I just kept trying to do it all.  I could keep writing forever, but for now, I must get ready to watch the OKC THunder!!!!! Much Love...
